U.S.A.F. Retired Chief Master Sergeant Wendell Lamar Lacy Rock Stream, NY: C.M.SGT. Wendell Lamar Lacy U.S.A.F. Ret. age 81, of Rock Stream, NY passed away at his home surrounded by his loving wife and children Friday October 10, 2014. Friends may call from 5-8 pm Tuesday, (Oct.14) at the Baird Funeral Home 36 Water St. Dundee, NY; where his funeral service will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, (Oct. 15), with Rev. Phil Tennies officiating. Burial will follow with Military Honors in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee. On Dec. 19, 1953 in Mineral Wells, TX, he married the former Alberta E. Travis. Lamar was a career non-commissioned officer in the United States Air Force, retired in 1979, and went on to work for the NYS DOL as a job counselor for veterans. He is survived by his wife of almost 61 years, Alberta E. Lacy at home; his five loving children Dr. Lamar Ronald Lacy of Florence, Italy, Joni Lynn (Gary) Palmer of Clay, NY, Mark Arthur (Nancy) Lacy of San Antonio, TX, Janet Elizabeth Alexander of Prattsburgh, NY, Julie Ann (Lance) Pinckney of Hamlin, NY. Additionally he is survived by his amazing grandchildren and great-grandchildren Jennifer Lacy (Greg) Krichbaum and their five children Joshua, Landon, Kolton, Emmalyn, and his namesake, Lacy; Cara Anne (Rod) Sprague and their three children Ryan, Cayden, Madelyn; Joni Elizabeth-Marie McAdams, Mark (Caroline) Lacy, Jr. and their daughter Addison; Sarah (Sean) Patterson and their two boys Noah and Aiden, Chad Richard Lamar McAdams, Ashleigh Roberts, Hillary (Jason) Latona, Cody Lamar Alexander of Lavergne, TN; Mary Agnes (Brandon Clark) Lacy and their two children Ava and Maddox; and Erin Lacy.
