Verna H. Wright Dundee: Verna H. Wright, age 79, of Dundee, NY died Thursday November 11, 2021 in the comfort of her home with her husband at her side. Honoring her wishes there were no prior calling hours. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday Nov. 20, 2021 in Tyrone Union Cemetery, Cemetery Rd. Tyrone, NY; followed by a Celebration of Her Life at the Bradford Baptist Church 2788 Yawger Hill Rd. Bradford, NY. Those attending the graveside are encouraged to bring a chair if needed. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice, considering cancer societies, children's hospitals, humane societies, or local charities. Verna was born July 8, 1942 in Rathbone, NY, a daughter of the late William and Helen (VanZile) Morseman. On August 29, 1959 in Addison N.Y she married the late Ronald J. Huyler who passed away on January 16, 2006. A housewife and devoted Christian who loved crocheting and making blankets, she loved cats, collecting beanie babies, and visiting Tioga Downs. Verna got remarried on June 13, 2009 in Tyrone, NY to Charles "Dale" Wright, who was also widowed, having been married to Verna's late sister Dora who had passed away in 2005. Together they blended their two loving families and cherished all of the children and grandchildren as their own. Verna is loved and will be dearly missed by her husband of 12 years "Dale" Wright at home, her only son Charles (Jamie) Huyler of Lockport, NY, Dora and Dale's children Rick (Tracy) Huyler of Corning, Helen (Randy) Jackson of Lakeland, FL, Dawn (Kevin) Wright of Palmyra, NY, Dale Wright of Corning; her sister Geraldine (Ralph) Pipe of Painted Post, NY; 17 combined grandchildren; 26 combined great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, in in laws. Besides her parents, first husband Ron, and sister Dora; Verna was pre-deceased by two brothers, Donald and Wilmont Morseman, her niece and stepdaughter Laura Masin in 2012, and a grandson Richie Huyler in 2017.
