Treva C. Seils Dundee: Treva C. Seils, age 83, of St. Marks of Penn Yan, formerly of Dundee died Monday January 14, 2013 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital. Friends may call from 4-7 pm Thursday (Jan. 17) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee; where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday (Jan. 18) with Father Stan Kaeprzak officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Marks Terrace 110 Chapel St. Penn Yan, NY 14527. Treva was born April 17, 1929 in Rochester, NY, the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Kathleen M. Cooper Chambers. On March 3, 1951 in Holy Rosary Church, Rochester, she married the late Donald W. Seils; he passed away on April 16, 1999. She has lived locally since 1976, previously of Horseheads. An accomplished seamstress, she worked for the Dundee Fabric Shoppe for many years. Mrs. Seils had attended the Barrington Community Church; was a member of the Dundee American Legion Bradley-Jessop Post #660, Ladies Auxiliary, was a former Dundee School Board Election Inspector, and a DCS Band Booster, and an avid bowler for many years at the Dundee Lanes. She is loved and will be missed by a son David W. (Debbie Smith) Seils of Prebble, NY; 3 daughters Donna C. (Fred) Gardiner of Penn Yan, Linda A. Johnson of Horseheads, Diane M. (Don) Baker of Barrington; a sister Isabel (Gerald) Swan of Middleport, NY, 6 grandchildren, Glen and Mark Gardiner, Daniel, Lauren, Emily and their mother Jerilyn Seils, and Carly Baker; 3 great grandchildren; numerous step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
