Timothy E. Pierce Rochester: Timothy E. Pierce, age 60, of Rochester, formerly of Penn Yan, and Dundee, NY passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday March 12, 2013 at Rochester General Hospital, in Rochester, N.Y. Honoring his wishes there are no prior calling hours. A graveside memorial service will be held in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee at the convenience of the family. Box 1131, Fairfax, VA 22038-1131 Timothy was born July 24, 1952 in Penn Yan, N.Y., the son of Kay and Jacqueline Curran Shoemaker. He graduated from Dundee Central School in 1971. He moved to Rochester in the early 1980's to work for Eastman Kodak. When Kodak downsized, he accepted a position with Thermo Fisher Scientific, in Penfield, NY, where he worked for 15yrs until he became disabled. Tim enjoyed playing pool, having helped his grandfather Curran run the family Pool Hall in Dundee for many years; and was a drummer in his grandfather's band in his younger years. He is survived and will be missed by one son, Shawn E. and his fiancé (Sara Rizzo) Pierce with whom he made his home; a grandson Kylar Wills-Pierce of Rochester; his mother Jacqueline I. Einsfield; a brother "Lenny" (Debbie) Pierce all of Dundee; a sister Kathleen ("Quazie" Capuano) McShea of Rochester; and several nieces and nephews.
