Sharyl G. Willoughby
Himrod: Sharyl G. Willoughby, age 82, of Himrod, NY passed away peacefully on Monday May 4, 2026 at Geneva General Hospital, in Geneva, N.Y.
Calling hours will be from 10:00 to 11:00 am Friday May 8, at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee; where her funeral service will be held at 11:00 am with Pastor Adrienne Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Mount Cemetery, Himrod, NY.
Memorial contributions may be made to Himrod Fire Department First Responders, 3530 Himrod Rd., Himrod, NY 14842-9608.
Sharyl was born March 26, 1944 in Canandaigua, NY, the daughter of the late Newton A. and Mary J. (Gage) Millard. On Nov. 9, 1963 in the Milo Center Methodist Church she married Carlton A. “Carty” Willoughby and they were married almost 57 years when he passed away on August 15, 2020.
Mrs. Willoughby was a member of Milo Center Methodist Church, enjoyed knitting, and had a love for hummingbirds.
She will be greatly missed by her 4 children, daughter Gail A. (Donald) Jones; and sons Stonie Willoughby both of Penn Yan, Allen (Laura) Willoughby of Dundee, and Daryl (Melanie) Willoughby also of Penn Yan; 12 grandchildren, Ariel (Ryan) Kohlstaedt, Tyler (Brittany Trank) Jones, Cassandra (Paul) Webber, Paige and Kasie Willoughby, Caleb Fulkrod, Ashley (Joshua) O'Brien, Joe (Katelyn) Knapp, Taylor (Anthony Olsen) Knapp, Marc, Max, and Mason Sullivan; 16 great grandchildren, with one on the way in August of 2026; and a sister-in-law Ruth Starkey of Tennessee.
She will be missed by her cousins Connie, Rick, Regina, Janet, and Mary whom along with other family member cousins met for breakfast on the third Sunday of the month at the Wagner in Penn Yan. She will be forever missed by her very good friend Anna Hoover who Sharyl drove around on many wonderful adventures.
