Canandaigua/Dundee: Sarah Elizabeth Williams, age 28, of Canandaigua, formerly of Dundee, NY passed away on Monday November 18, 2019 at Strong Memorial Hospital, in Rochester, N.Y.
Honoring her wishes there will be no prior calling hours or formal service. Friends are invited to share memories at the Celebration of Her Life at Dundee American Legion, 10 Spring St., Dundee from 1:00 – 4:00 pm Saturday (Dec. 7) 2019.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1120 S Goodman St, Rochester, NY 14620; or to a Humane Society of the donor's choice.
Sarah was born September 24, 1991 in Montour Falls, NY, the daughter of Shane M. Johnson and Lorie A. {Hathaway} Johnson. She graduated from Dundee Central School in 2010, and received her Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from Finger Lakes Community College in 2012. On July 7, 2018 in Phelps, NY she married Christopher L. Williams. Sarah was the Assistant Customer Service Manager at Tops in Canandaigua. A loving mother, wife and daughter, she enjoyed photography, scrap booking, and coloring crafts, when not trying to rescue every dog, and cheering on the Dallas Cowboys.
She is dearly loved and will be forever missed by her husband Christopher L. Williams; daughter Peyton E. Williams age 3, son Preston L. Williams age 1 all of Canandaigua; her mother Lorie A. (James) Snyder also of Canandaigua; father Shane M. (Stephanie) Johnson; brother Anthony R. Johnson; sisters Amanda L. (James) Krielder III all of Lakemont, NY, Michelle A. (Ben) Ingerson of Elbridge, NY, and many step siblings; maternal grandmother Marsha Hathaway of Penn Yan; paternal grandmother Judy Johnson of North Port, FL; paternal great grandmother Marion Harris of Penn Yan; nieces Chole Ingerson, and Sandra Kriedler; nephew James "L.J" Kriedler IV; and many aunts, uncles & cousins.
She was predeceased by grandfathers Cecil "Skip" Johnson, and John L. Hathaway; and an uncle Tim Hathaway.
