Honoring the families wishes there will be no calling hours. A private memorial service for family and friends will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her memory would be graciously received. Sarah was born September 3, 1928 inNorwalk,CT, the daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Elizabeth Osborn Green. A loving mother and grandmother she enjoyed crochet, knitting, baking, and cooking, baby sitting, working her farm, and an occasional word search puzzle. She is loved and will be dearly missed by 3 sons Ehman D. Reed, Charles "Chuck" Reed, and Lucas M. Reed, all at home; 2 daughters Elizabeth Howland of Geneva, and Alta M. (Robert) Bassett of Dundee; 5 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a son Benjamin Reed in 1949.
