Russell E. Smith Dundee: Russell E. Smith, age 78, of Dundee, NY passed away Friday October 7, 2022 in the comfort of his home. There will be no prior calling hours. A Celebration of His Life will be from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. Saturday Oct. 29, at the Tyrone Fire Hall 3600 State Rte 226 Tyrone, NY. Russell was born May 10, 1944 in Newton, New Jersey. He was a lifelong truck driver formerly employed by Herr's Trucking and Emerson Express. He was a former member of the VFW. He is survived by his wife Susan (Pratt) Collins Smith at home; daughter Becky Smith; and son Russell Smith both of Pennsylvania; a sister Elsie Petty; grandson Jay White; great granddaughter Scarlett White; 3 stepchildren Deborah, Marshall, and Ernest Collins all of Dundee; 3 step grandchildren, and 3 step great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his mother Dorothy Smith, a sister Helen VanDuyne and a step grandson Branden Clark. Arrangements entrusted to the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee.
