Roxan E. Meier Dundee: Roxan E. Meier, age 55, of Dundee, NY died accidentally on Thursday July 17, 2014 in a motor vehicle accident. Friends may call from 5-8 pm Tuesday (July 22) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday (July 23) at Faith Baptist Church, 13 Harpending Ave., Dundee with Pastors Lawrence and David Semans officiating. Roxan was born April 20, 1959 in Bath, NY, the daughter of the late Boyd J. and Julia D. Hyer Hilligus Sr. She graduated from Bath-Haverling High School. On July 25, 1987 in Himrod, NY, she married Buddy J. Meier. A life long area resident, Mrs. Meier was a very active member of Faith Baptist Church, where she was a former AWANA Leader, and due to her love of crafts and making cards; she was the craft organizer for AWANA, Vacation Bible School and Sunday School; and enjoyed volunteering in the nursery. She is loved and will be dearly missed by her husband of 27 years Buddy J. Meier at home; 2 daughters Cordelia A. Meier of Penn Yan, Marla R. (Thomas) Bahr of Naples, NY; 2 sons Buddy J. (Jessica) Meier Jr. of Greene, NY currently serving in the US Army, and Christopher S. Meier of Dundee; 5 grandchildren; 5 sisters Dorothy I. (Bill Goundry) Green, Cleo H. (Paul) Pollack Sr., Teena L. (Mike) Pollack Sr. all of Dundee, Penelope F. Jamison of Campbell, NY, Mary Etta Rose Hilligus of Dundee; 3 brothers Boyd J Hilligus Jr. of Dansville, NY, Elwood T. (Paula) Hilligus Sr. of Dundee, Gary (Amy) Farnsworth of Cleveland, OH; countless nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by 2 brothers Michael E.
