Rose Ann Areford Glen Dundee: Rose Ann Areford Glen, age 93, formerly of Dundee, NY passed away Friday February 13, 2026 at The Homestead, in Penn Yan, N.Y. Rose Ann was born December 5, 1932 in Dundee, NY, the only daughter of the late John C. and Rose (Kelley) Areford Sr. She graduated from Dundee Central School in the class of 1950. On Sept. 22, 1951 in the Dundee United Methodist Church, she married Robert H. Glen; he preceded her in death on Sept. 23, 2017. A lifelong local resident she was employed for over 30 years by the local phone company, retiring as a Service Representative for Con-Tel in 1981. Mrs. Glen was a lifelong member of the Dundee United Methodist Church. She is survived by her only son Dirk R. (Kimberly) Glen of Durham, NC; only grandchild Avery P. Glen of Hillsborough, NC; sister in law Audrey Derby (wife of brother Jack) of Dundee; and several very dear nieces and nephews. Besides her late parents and husband, she was predeceased by 3 brothers Jack R. Derby, John Calvin (Doris) Areford Jr. and Myron (Lenore) Areford. Honoring her wishes, there are no calling hours or public service at this time. Inurnment will be in Hillside Cemetery.
