Ronald Ralph Belles

Himrod: Ronald Ralph Belles, age 76, of Himrod, NY passed away peacefully at home on Monday Aug. 28, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.

Honoring his wishes there are no prior calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Saturday Sept. 9 at 11:00 am at Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee, NY followed by a gathering at his home on Seneca Lake to celebrate his life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ontario-Yates Hospice 756 Pre-Emption Rd., Geneva, NY 14456.

Ron was born Dec. 10, 1940 in Grand Coulee, WA, the son of the late Claude O. and Rhoda {Bates} Belles.

On March 8, 1964 in Reno, Nevada he married the former Joan E. Marsh. Ron and his wife raised their family in Perinton, NY and owned BTW Overhead Door Co. & Seneca Drums Mobile Home Park.

Ron leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Joan E. (Marsh) Belles at home; children; Kathy (Belles) Marra of Perinton, Jeff (Julie) Belles of Canandaigua and Chrissy Belles of East Rochester; 9 adoring grandchildren; Cody (Renee) Belles, Casey Belles, Bryan Marra, Scott Marra, Mark Belles, Tyler Marra, Matthew Belles, Olivia Premo & Michael Belles. great grandsons; Zeppelin Belles and Landon Marra; one brother-in-law, Jack Pape of CA. He will not only be missed by numerous nieces & nephews, but many caring friends and neighbors on Seneca Lake along with many friends at his winter home in Melaque, Mexico. "Happy Trails"…

Besides his parents, and his elder son Gregory Ralph Belles, he was predeceased by all nine of his older siblings, Kermit Belles, Evelyn Grey, Kenneth Belles, Virginia Keller, Burton Belles, Robert D. Belles, Claude O. Belles, Jr., Gloria Sutton & Joy Pape.
