Robert Andrew Stewart Himrod: Robert Andrew Stewart, age 64, of Castle Point Rd. Himrod, NY died unexpectedly on Friday August 31, 2012 at home. There are no prior calling hours. A memorial mass will be held at the convenience of the family on a date to be announced. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Watkins Glen, NY. Robert was born January 24, 1948 in Corning, NY, the son of the late Robert G.J. Stewart and Anna G. Hercula Stewart. He grew up in Riverside near Painted Post before moving to Big Flats. He graduated from West High in Corning. He served in the U.S. Army as an MP from 1968-1970. He was employed as a Security Officer for many years by the Bath V.A. Medical Center, in Bath, NY. He is survived by a sister Marianne L. Stewart of Ithaca, NY; a nephew; 2 nieces; and several cousins. He was predeceased by his father on May 10, 1987, and his mother on January 21, 1996.
