Bradford: Randy Louis Buchanan, Randy Louis Buchanan, age 54, of Bradford, NY, passed away on September 17th, 2026. He was born on November 26th, 1971, in Penn Yan, NY, to Debra Buchanan.

Randy will be remembered for living his life to the fullest and highest, always willing to help others, and a sense of humor that kept everyone laughing and wondering what was next. He loved living and hanging out with friends on the lake and was known to many as the “sheriff” of the lake. He was also known to by many as “Karnacki” and “Ran-do, Can-do.” He loved to put on firework shows and blow things up and had a need for speed with no matter what he was driving.

Randy is survived by his significant other, Carrie House, of 29 years, his son, Shelby Buchanan of Florida, his daughter, Mckenzie (Shawn) Labar of South Carolina, his daughter, Kierra Buchanan of Bradford, NY, and his uncle, Roger “Buckwheat” Buchanan of Avoca, NY.

Randy is predeceased by his grandparents, Charlotte and Lloyd “Toby” Buchanan who raised him, his mother, Debra Buchanan, and his brother, “Punky.”

There are no prior calling hours. The family will welcome friends to a Celebration of his life on Saturday, September 26th starting at 3:00 pm at the Bradford Fire Hall Main St. Bradford, NY.
