Rachel Lee Conover Guthrie Dundee: Rachel Lee Conover Guthrie, age 42 of Dundee, NY passed away Saturday May 25, 2024 in the comfort of her home with fiancé Mark, daughter Raven and her family by her side. Honoring her wishes there will be no prior calling hours and a small family service at the convenience of the family. Rachel was born on September 6, 1981 in Geneva NY to Michael and Sonya (Woodard) Conover of Dundee. Rachel was a graduate of Dundee Central School in 1999. Rachel worked in several places with the most recent at Aldi in Penn Yan. Rachel met the love of her life Mark Guthrie in 2011 and welcomed their daughter Raven in July of 2014. Rachel loved being a mom to Raven, and spending time with her family. She loved animals and was known for feeding and saving all the local strays and befriending her favorite wild skunk Pepé. Rachel had a carefree personality and enjoyed spending time on her front porch and visiting with friends, family and neighbors. She will be missed by her love Mark Guthrie; their daughter Raven Lynn at home; her mother and father Michael and Sonya Conover; brother Brad (Kayleigh) Conover all of Dundee; nephews Mason and Blake Conover; grandparents John (Cindy) Lockwood of Spring Texas, Lucine Conover of Penn Yan, Joan Horton of Barrington, Mark's parents, Pat and Henry Shugars; brother in laws Keith, Curt, Henry Jr., Jed, their wives and children, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Rachel was predeceased by her grandfathers' Donald Conover, Donald Woodard and grandmother Dorothy Lockwood.
