Patricia Ann Andrews Dundee: Patricia Ann "Pattie" Andrews, age 76, of Dundee, formerly of Himrod, NY passed away peacefully Tuesday February 8, 2022 in the comfort of her daughter's home in Dundee, NY. Patricia was born April 21, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late Francis G. and Betty M. (Hall) Andrews Sr. "Pattie's" work history began in the cafeteria at Dundee Central School, prior to becoming a Fiberglass Specialist for Penn Yan Boats for many years. She worked with her first husband and his own trash company, and eventually owned her own company with the help of her second husband. Pattie's her true passion was being a caregiver, as a CNA at Penn Yan manor Nursing Home prior to owning her own family care home in Himrod, NY, catering to psychiatric patients; retiring in 2000 when she moved to Dundee. She was a former member of the Himrod Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary; a member of the Dundee Methodist Church, and had been a former member of the Dundee Baptist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling on Friday nights, she loved swimming in her pool, gardening, collecting angels, feeding hummingbirds, and pampering dogs. But her greatest joy in life was every second she had to spend with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is loved and will be missed by 2 daughters Paula A. (Carl) Sullivan with whom she made her final home, Phyllis A. (Dave) Valentine of Rolfe, Iowa; son Paul Johnson Jr.; 8 grandchildren LaTrisha (Shannon), twins Zach (Taylor), & Alex (Courtney), Matt (Cheyenne), Nick, Dakota (Holly), Mitch, (Shelby) and Tad; 10 great grandchildren; 2 brothers Earl Andrews & Robert Andrews; 3 sisters Beverly Holland, Janette Foster, & Joyce Doty; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, and the father of her children, she was predeceased by a grandson Steven Johnson, and a brother Francis Andrews Jr.. Honoring her wishes there were no prior calling hours. Private graveside services were held at 11:00 am on her first heavenly birthday, Thursday April 21, 2022 in Grove Mount Cemetery, Penn Yan - Himrod Rd., Himrod, NY with Lay Pastor Judy Duquette officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Dundee Fire Company Emergency Squad, 12 Union St., Dundee, NY 14837.
