Norma L. Gaebelein Rock Stream: Norma Louise Gaebelein, of Rock Stream, NY passed peacefully in her home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday December 10, 2021. Born in 1928 Norma Louise Allen to the late Arthur and Marie (Peelle) Allen of Rock Stream, N.Y. She married Donn Gaebelein, the love of her life, in 1950. She thrived in the 71-year marriage. Working and traveling together, they developed lifelong friendships. As the wife of an educator, she graciously hosted faculty, parents, guests, school board members and students. Norma always saw an unknown person as a potential friend. In retirement, her framing hobby brought art and beauty to her friends and customers. She played the piano and the cello. In her later years she provided music for the Rock Stream Presbyterian Church. One of her greatest delights was swimming in Seneca Lake every year from her early childhood to the year of her death. She is survived by her loving husband, 3 children, 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and was predeceased by one daughter.
