Neil W. Laumeyer

Dundee: Neil W. Laumeyer, age 39, of Dundee, NY passed away unexpectedly on Friday September 18, 2026 at his home in Dundee.

There will be no calling hours or public service. Services will be held privately at the convenience of his family.

Neil was born May 8, 1987 in Alexandria, Minnesota, son of Jeffrey J. and the late Patricia H. (Bromeling) Laumeyer. He graduated from Dundee Central School in 2005. He continued his education receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from Alfred State University of New York. He was employed as an ITT Technician by Corning Inc., Corning, NY.

Neil was a gentle giant, who loved everyone he met, and would give them the shirt off his back. He enjoyed anything computer related and was an avid NASCAR fan. He loved attending races any chance he got, having visited Charlotte, NC, and visiting several race shops. Ironically his favorite driver won the race the day after Neil passed, surely he helped getting some divine intervention.

He is survived by his father Jeffrey J. Laumeyer who shared his home; a sister Brandi Laumeyer of Burnsville, MN; and his maternal grandmother Roberta Bromeling also of Minnesota; along with his pet cats.

He was predeceased by his mother Patricia Laumeyer in 2018.
