Myrna L. Andrews

Dundee: Heaven gained another Angel on Friday August 28, 2026 when Myrna Lou Andrews, age 80, passed away in the comfort of her home, in her husband’s arms.

Honoring her instructions; there will be no calling hours or public service. Her family will respect her privately.

Myrna was born January 27, 1946 in Elkland, Pennsylvania. On May 13, 1967 in Wayne, NY, she married James M. Andrews. She worked in the healthcare field for many years, employed by the ARC of Yates, in Penn Yan, until her retirement.

She will always be remembered for her kindness, huge heart and was a beautiful person inside and out.

She will always be in the minds and hearts of those she has left behind. Her husband of 59 years, James Andrews at home; daughters Kimberly Knapton of Dundee, Emilie Pierce of Cincinnati, OH; grandsons Gregory Knapton, and Charles Knapton both of Dundee, Kevin Knapton of Penn Yan; granddaughter Brittany Slocum also of Penn Yan; and 3 great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by 2 daughters, Rachel Andrews on Sept. 18, 1986, and Karen Conklin June 14, 2003.
