Myra L. Disbrow Fairport/Dundee: Myra L. Disbrow, age 86, formerly of Dundee, NY passed away Thursday March 14, 2013 at Crest Manor Nursing Home, Fairport, NY, with her daughters by her side. Honoring her wishes there will be no prior calling hours, or funeral service. Myra was born November 13, 1926 in Dundee, NY, the daughter and only child of the late Clifton and Louise Bailey Yawger. She graduated from Dundee Central School in 1944. On Dec. 14, 1946 in Dundee, she married the late Thomas C. Disbrow; who passed away on June 14, 2003. A life long Dundee resident, Myra was a member of the former Grace Episcopal Church, and former member of the Dundee Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she is loved and will be dearly missed by her son Dennis C. Disbrow of Endwell, NY, 5 daughters Carol (Thomas) Murphy of Syracuse, Debora Vellekoop, and Annette (Dale) Appleton both of Penn Yan, Jane (Thomas) Bourgeois of Rutland, VT, Judy (PJ) Crowley of Tulsa, OK; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
