Myong Sun Gurkin Waneta Lake, NY/San Antonio, TX: Myong Sun Gurkin, age 78, of Hammondsport, NY, previously of San Antonio, TX; passed away on Sunday September 29, 2024. Myong was a devout member of the Korean SDA Church of San Antonio. She worked hard to help others, and loved her family and church family. She is survived by her son Min Hyo Robertson; a daughter Kimberly (Darick) Harriger of Hammondsport/Waneta Lake, NY, three grandchildren Cassidy, Austin, and Elizabeth; 2 brothers Song Su Oh and family, Song Jin Oh and family; a sister Yo Pok Shenouda and family; several nieces and nephews; and her loving church family. Calling hours and funeral service will be held on a date yet to be determined at Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home 1701 Austin Highway San Antonio, TX. She will be laid to rest at Ft.
