Mary Elizabeth Whipkey Coon Prattsburgh: Mary Elizabeth Whipkey Coon, age 68, of Prattsburgh, NY passed away unexpectedly on Mother's Day Sunday May 10, 2020 at Ira Davenport Hospital, in Bath, N.Y. She was a former Certified Nurses Assistant employed by Catholic Charities Penn, NY until her retirement. She is loved and will be dearly missed by her son Michael A. (Stephanie) Harper, and her daughter Wendy R. (Ron McQuaid) Christensen both of Penn Yan, NY; her spouse Robert "Bob" Coon at home; her mother Laura R. Whipkey of Dundee, NY; sister Judy (Ron) McIntire of Hammondsport, NY; 4 granddaughters Mary Harper, Kayla Harper, Katlyn DiDuro, and Andrea Harper; 5 great grandchildren, Lee Jr., Timmy Jr., Brycen, Christian, and Benjamin; along with several nieces and nephews. Besides her father, she was predeceased by a granddaughter Shylo R. Zirkle on Sept. 16, 2017.
