Mark Brian Campbell Penn Yan: Mark Brian Campbell, age 60, of Penn Yan, NY passed away on Sunday November 17, 2024 at Strong Memorial Hospital, in Rochester, N.Y. Calling hours will be from 12:00 -1:00 p.m. Friday (Nov. 22) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee; where his funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm with Lay Pastor Lew Ann Giles officiating. Burial will follow in Tyrone Union Cemetery, Tyrone, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Benton House, 1855 Rt. 54, Penn Yan, N.Y. 14527. Mark was born Dec. 18, 1963 in Montour Falls, NY, the son of the late Jesse LeRoy and Sarah Alice (Best) Campbell. A lifelong area resident, Mark received his IEP Diploma, and took classes at Keuka College. He was a valuable employee of the Mozaic / ARC work program. He was an enthusiastic fan of football, torn between the Giants and the Buffalo Bills; whom he surely helped the angels cheer them as the defeated the Chiefs on his first night in heaven. He loved baseball, bowling, and NASCAR. And always proudly wore the colors of all of the Marvel Super Hero's. He was loved by all who knew him; and will be forever missed by his 2 brothers, Wayne L. (Cindy) Campbell of Waterloo, and William R. Campbell of South Lake Tahoe, CA; 2 sisters Lenora J. (David) Bell of Shortsville, NY, and Peggy J. (David) Cummings of Geneva; along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and even great great nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by 2 sisters, Elizabeth A.
