Dundee: Marjorie Jean Hunt, of Dundee, NY passed away on Saturday August 29, 2026 at age 80.

She was a graduate of Dundee Central School, Maria Regina College, Syracuse, NY, Marion S. Whelan School of Practical Nursing, Geneva, NY and received her RN nursing education from Onondaga Community College, Syracuse. She worked in Miami Beach, Syracuse, Geneva, Las Vegas and Boulder City, Nevada, Penn Yan, and Waterloo, NY during a 35 year career of nursing and case management.

Marjorie traveled extensively, enjoyed all water activities and fishing, playing Bridge and reading. Seneca Lake / Baskin’s Point was her favorite place. She was a member of the Dundee Woman’s Study Club and Library, and served on the Board for 14 years with one year as President. She also served on the Penn Yan Manor/Clinton Crest Board for 15 years-twelve of those years as treasurer.

She is survived by a brother Frederick A. (Jane) Hunt Esq. of Arizona; a sister Susan E. (Rolando) Moreno of Lockport; and many friends.

She was predeceased by her parents Frederick and Thelma Hunt; and a sister Catherine Hunt of Dundee/Florida.
