Burial will be private in Pleasant View Cemetery, Reading Center. Memorial contributions may be made to the Holocaust Survivors Assistance Program, 3201 South Tamarac Dr. Denver, CO 80231. Lillian was born August 8, 1934 in Penn Yan, NY, the daughter of the late James W. and Lillian N. (Bell) Rogers. She graduated from Watkins Glen High School in 1952. On January 7, 1953 in Watkins Glen, she married the late Robert E. 'Bob' Perry; who passed away on Dec. 21, 2020. In the 1950's while starting her family Lillian worked for the Comstock Canning Co. in Penn Yan. She then became the 'L' and bookkeeper, as well as the 'Pilot Car' driver for heavy equipment and oversize loads for the family business R & L Perry Construction Inc. of Watkins Glen, NY. As far as her spare-time, Mrs. Perry will be remembered as a Sunday School Teacher for both the former Church of the Nazarene in Watkins, but also Grace Baptist Church in Beaver Dams. She enjoyed camping, and campfires, boating, and wintering in Florida. But her greatest joy was being a home maker aka "Domestic Engineer" and helping to care for her beloved grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Pam M. Trank with whom she made her home; 2 sons Donald R. (Julie) Perry of Watkins Glen, and Brian D. Perry also at home; 5 grandchildren Lisa (Nick) Savastano, Kelly (Anthony) Delionado, Darryl (Lauren) Perry, Beth Caudle, and Robert Perry; 8 great grandchildren; a sister Ruth Simpson also of Watkins Glen; and numerous nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, and husband, she was predeceased by a granddaughter Kim Trank, on Oct. 25, 2014; a son David R. Perry on May 30, 2015; and 4 brothers, Larry, Stewart, Kenneth, and George Rogers.
