John R. Stoudt Dundee: John R. Stoudt, age 59, of Dundee, NY formerly of Pennsylvania died unexpectedly on Saturday March 14, 2015 at Schuyler Hospital, in Montour Falls, N.Y. Friends are invited to calling hours from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday (Mar. 19) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee; where a memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm with Pastor Jane Winters officiating. John was born July 9, 1955 in Painesville, OH, the son of Portia Whittenbaugh Criswell. He an expert carpenter and 40 year member of the Carpenters Union Local 281, in Trenton, NJ, retiring in 2014. John was an avid sportsman, who loved hunting and fishing, and was a devoted die hard Pittsburgh Steelers and Duke Blue Devil fan. He is survived by a son Jacob L. Stoudt at home; a daughter Lisa (Justin) Barron of Mars, PA, a granddaughter Natalie Barron; 7 siblings Portia L. Klein of Enola, PA, Margo A. Trainer of Coopersburg, PA, Doris L. (Michael) St. Clair of Fremont, OH, Kenneth E. (Julie) Stoudt of Wilmington, OH, Alice M. Sebring of Mechanicsburg, PA, Catherine C. (Gary) Schick of Harmony, PA, Christine L. (David) Barnett of Spring Valley, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother in Portia Whittenbaugh Criswell in 1995.
