Jean Cadwell Inscho Dundee: Jean Cadwell Inscho, age 82, of Dundee, NY died Tuesday October 16, 2012 in the comfort of her home. The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Friday (Oct. 19) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee; where a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday (Oct. 20) with Lay Pastor Priscilla Andrews officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee; at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dundee Fire Company Emergency Squad, 12 Union St., Dundee, NY 14837. Jean was born November 20, 1929 in the Town of Barrington, NY, the daughter of the late Leo F. and Jennie Cornish Cadwell Sr. She graduated from Dundee Central School in 1946; received her B.S. Degree in Education from S.U.N.Y. Brockport in 1950, and her Masters from Elmira College. On March 21, 1953 in Dundee, she married the late Martin E. Inscho, he passed away on Oct. 20, 2000. A life long local resident, Jean was an Elementary and Junior High Physical Education and Health Teacher for Dundee Central School, until her retirement in 1985. She continued to substitute until 1992. Jean wintered in Florida for several years; but her greatest joy was following her children, and grandchildren's many sports endeavors. She also liked camping, making miniature houses, sewing and cross stitch. Mrs. Inscho was a member of Dundee Baptist Church, and the New York State Retired Teachers Assoc. She is loved and will be dearly missed by 2 sons John M. (Nancy Streb) Inscho of Dundee, Mark T. (Belinda Geiger) Inscho of Leesburg, VA; 2 daughters Janice K. (Walt) Symes and Joan M. Inscho both of Dundee; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; a sister Mary (Robert) Crans of Dundee, and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was pre-deceased by 4 brothers Benny Cadwell in 1991, Robert Cadwell in 1999, Leo Cadwell Jr. in 2009, and Ernest Cadwell in 2011.
