Iwan Arpad Dundee: Iwan Arpad, age 88, of 57 Hollister St. Dundee, NY died unexpectedly on Sunday July 8, 2012 in the comfort of his home. Calling hours will be from 11:00 a.m.- 12:00 noon Thursday July 12, at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee; where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon with Rev. Lucinda O'Leary officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee. Iwan was born August 3, 1923 in Hungary. A World War II refugee, he came to the United States when he was in his twenties. In his younger years he was employed as a machinist in New York City. Mr. Arpad has lived at the Woodard Family Care Home in Dundee since 1989, formerly of Willard, NY.
