Irene Doan McLoud Smith Dundee: Irene Doan McLoud Smith, age 87, of Farmington, formerly of Dundee, NY died Tuesday December 18, 2012 at F. F. Thompson Memorial Hospital, in Canandaigua, N.Y. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon Friday (Dec. 21) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee; where a funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon with Rev. John Busch officiating. Burial will follow in Italy Hill Cemetery. Irene was born April 27, 1925 in Knoxville, PA, the daughter of the late Lewis S. and Alice Eveland Doan. On May 30, 1946 in Milo Center she married Lindsley G. "Lynn" McLoud, who predeceased her on June 21, 1981. On Oct. 10, 1987 in Second Milo Baptist Church she married Ralph E. Smith, he passed away on Aug. 13, 2010. Mrs. Smith was a former member of Home Bureau, Friendship Squares, and "Senior Citizens of" The Moose Lodge #1519, Penn Yan, NY. She is survived by a son Danny R. (Sandy) McLoud of Whitehall, NY; 4 daughters Carol Craik of Syracuse, NY, Linda M. Stone (William Merkle) of Farmington, NY, Kathleen A. McLoud (Husband Tony Longtin) of Cambridge, NY, Diane M. (Michael) Gazda also of Farmington, 4 stepchildren Gary (Judy) Smith, Gail (Steve) Gulyas, Janine Putnam, Nora (Michael) Statler; 2 brothers Lewis F. Doan of Milo Center, NY, Elwin R. (Ronne) Doan of Penn Yan, N.Y.; 15 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
