Dundee: Elmer B. Easling Jr., age 58, of Dundee, NY left this world behind on Monday March 30, 2026.

Elmer was born April 28, 1967 in Geneva, NY, the son of the late Elmer B. and Virginia Mae (Muchler) Easling Sr. Raised in Hammondsport, he graduated from Hammondsport High School in 1986. Moving to Geneva, NY, where he raised his family, and started his career as a mechanic for Monroe Muffler. He eventually took a position in Seneca Falls with Trombley Tire where he worked for 16 years. After a life changing injury, he moved to Dundee where he has lived for the past 23 years.

Elmer was a true handy man to every friend he had. Known as Mr. Fix It, he was the perfect “Jack of All ….

He was a master tinkerer on anything with a motor. He rarely missed a tractor pull, enjoyed building model cars and designing and building train sets. But his greatest joys were memories made with his family camping.

He is survived by 3 children, daughter Sarah J. Easling of Indiana; sons Andrew C. (Ann-Marie L.) Easling of Dundee, and Jason B. (Amanda) Easling of Auburn, GA, 6 grandchildren Trinity, Isabell, Madalyn, Lily-Ann, Cole & Christian Easling; 3 nephews the “Chih Boys”. Cousins who were more like siblings, the Wheeler family, Steven, James, Mary and the late Lynn. He will be fondly remembered by his dear friend Gary Boardman whom he had a trusted and meaningful relationship with.
