Dorothy E. Laurencin Dundee: Dorothy E. Laurencin, age, 91, of Dundee, NY passed away peacefully at Keuka Comfort Care Home on Friday, October 13, 2017. Honoring her wishes there will be no prior calling hours. A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Lakemont Cemetery. Dorothy was born in New Hampshire in 1926, was raised on Long Island, NY, and brought up her family in Bergenfield, NJ. She was a Cub Scout Den Mother, a Brownie Scout Leader, Sunday School Teacher, a member of the League of Women's Voters and active in the American Field Service as an American Mom to foreign exchange students. She worked as a Jr. Accountant and retired to Dundee, NY where she was active in the Dundee Baptist Church with her husband Ronald Laurencin who predeceased her in May 2015. Dorothy is survived by her brother David Dean, her children Jacqueline L. Flynn, H. Steven Soehnel, Lawrence E. Soehnel, Denise Laurencin, Susan Laurencin, 8 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
