Donna Joanne Johnson Dundee: Donna Joanne Johnson, age 59, of Dundee, NY died unexpectedly Saturday November 17, 2012 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, in Penn Yan, NY. There are no prior calling hours. A memorial service and Fireman's service will be held starting at 5:00 pm Thursday (Nov. 29) at the Barrington Community Church, Old Bath Rd., Dundee with Rev. Gerald Vanaman officiating. A dinner reception will follow the service. Burial will be private in Lake View Cemetery, Penn Yan, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Dundee Fire Company Emergency Squad, 12 Union St. ; the Barrington Community Church, P.O. Box 73, 4560 Old Bath Rd., or the American Legion Bradley-Jessop Post #660, 10 Spring St., all Dundee, NY 14837. Donna was born October 19, 1953 in Penn Yan, N.Y., the daughter of the late Mahlon G. and Katherine L. Williams Wixson. She attended Penn Yan Academy. A life long local resident she worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant for many years, retiring due to illness from Canandaigua V.A. in 1990. Mrs. Johnson was a devoted life member and E.M.T. of the Dundee Fire Company and Dundee Emergency Squad. She enjoyed crochet, and NASCAR, and surely pulled for Jeff Gordon in the final race of the season, and her first in Heaven.. A loving mother, and grandmother, she will be dearly missed by her 2 daughters Karen (Joseph) Van Buren of Dresden, Tracy L. Cameron; a son Lawrence (Patricia) Eaves III; 2 brothers Ronald G. Wixson, William C. (Wanda) Wixson; a sister Lori J. Fuller, all of Dundee; 12 grandchildren Jesse Cameron Jr., Bradley Van Buren, Anthony Cameron, Michael, Shelby, Zachary, and Hunter Eaves, Michael Shriver Jr., Joseph Trautman Jr., Kaitlin Smith, Deserea Shriver, and Jessica Davis; a great granddaughter Lilly Ann-Rose Smith; 2 nephews, Jeremy (Leah Galens) Trank and Derek Trank; and a great niece Kendra Trank.
