Wayne/Hammondsport: Donna M. Deats, age 68, of the town of Wayne, NY died unexpectedly on Tuesday January 29, 2013 at Ira Davenport Hospital, in Bath, N.Y..
Honoring her wishes there are no prior calling hours; and her services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Donna was born December 2, 1944 in Oswego, NY, the daughter of the late Stephen and Theda Walch Callen. After graduating from high school she took a position with Hartford Insurance Company, and retired as a Claims Representative after 29 years in 1991. On July 4, 1991 in Syracuse, NY she married James P.R. "Butch" Deats Sr.; and moved to Wayne, to become the owners of the "Lost and Found" Tavern in Tyrone.
A loving wife and friend to many, she will be dearly missed by her husband of 22 years "Butch" Deats at home; a daughter Raeann M. Kraus; 2 sons James P.R. Deats Jr., and Christopher Daniel Deats, all of Florida; a brother David McDowell of Central Square, NY; 14 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her 2 faithful friends Scooter & Goldie.
