Donald M. Howell Sr. Himrod: Donald M. Howell Sr., age 90, of Himrod, NY passed away Thursday November 13, 2025 at Oak Hill Manor, in Ithaca, NY. Honoring his wishes there will be no calling hours or public service. Donald was born June 22, 1935 in Geneva, NY, the son of the late Loren J. and Laura Ida (Trenchard) Howell. He graduated from Dundee Central School Class of 1953. Donald was predeceased in January, 2021 by his wife of almost 65 years Marion Elizabeth Carlson. Donald was a 47 year employee of Shepard-Niles Crane & Hoist Company in Montour Falls, NY; with a second beloved career of grape farming. Mr. Howell was a Founding Member of the Himrod Fire Dept.; a former Mason in Montour Falls, and a longtime member of the Himrod Conservation Club. He will be forever loved and dearly missed by 2 daughters Kim (Paul Clark) Howell, and Debbie Roloson;3 sons, Kevin J. (Karen) Howell, Jamie (Gabrielle) Howell, and Donald (Lisa) Howell Jr.; along with 14 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
