Deborah J. Fox Penn Yan: Deborah J. Fox, age 67 of Penn Yan, NY (formerly of Preble, NY) passed away Wednesday January 16, 2019 at Hospeace House in Naples, NY. Deborah was born October 16, 1951 in Riverside CA. She was a 1969 Graduate of Homer Central High School, Homer, NY. During her over 40 years of bartending and selling Real Estate, Deb touched countless lives and turned numerous friends into family. Her smile, wit and sense of humor will be missed by so many. After serving for over 20 years at The Tavern in Penn Yan, NY, Deb was as a pillar at her family's bar and grill, Smugglers Corner in Potter, NY. She is loved and will be forever missed by her daughter Shannon (Kris) Christensen and Son Chris (Christina) Fox; Her 10 grandchildren Amanda, Danielle, Courtney, Aaron, Daniel, Jared, Kristopher, Heather, Hailey and Austin and 7 great grandchildren; forever friends Patti, Mickey, Nancy and Donna and her beloved dog Tory. Deborah was predeceased by her parents John Cummings and Connie Burns and sister Pamela Minor. Honoring her wishes, there will be no calling hours.
