David K. Hazleton Asheville / Charlotte, N.C. David Kevin Hazleton, age 55, of Asheville, previously of Charlotte N.C., originally of Poughkeepsie, NY; died accidently on February 23, 2015 in Asheville NC. There were no calling hours. A family gathering will be held in early April in Florida. David was born Aug. 4, 1959 in Rhinebeck, NY, the second son of Jon A. and Betty Rutbell Hazleton. He attended Spackenkill Schools in Poughkeepsie, NY; and was a veteran of the US Army. He was an expert carpenter, enjoyed the outdoors, and spending time with his family. He is loved and will be dearly missed by his daughter Nicole Hazleton, and son Corey Hazleton both of Charlotte, NC; his mother Betty Hazleton of Myrtle Beach S.C.; 2 brothers Lee Hazleton of Stanfordville, NY, Scott Hazleton also of Myrtle Beach, S.C., a sister Debbie (Pat) Dionne of Paisley, FL., granddaughter Veronica Tornabene, grandson Vann Dzurik, and numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends. He was predeceased by his brother Mark T. Hazleton Dec. 23, 2014, and granddaughter Tori L. Hazleton July 1, 2014, and his father Jon Hazleton in 1998.
