Carol A. Moore Dundee: Carol A. Moore, age 84, of Dundee, NY went home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday August 29, 2024 at The Homestead, in Penn Yan, NY. Friends are invited to calling hours from 10:00 to 11:00 am Tuesday Sept. 3, 2024 at Faith Baptist Church, 13 Harpending Ave., Dundee, NY; where her funeral service will be held at 11:00 am with Pastors David & Lawrence Semans officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Baptist Church, 13 Harpending Ave., or the Dundee Emergency Squad, 12 Union St., Dundee, NY 14837. Carol was born June 15, 1940 in Rochester, NY, the daughter of the late Edward J. and Ruth (Church) Raps. Living locally since 1955, previously of Horseheads; she graduated from Dundee Central School in 1959. Carol was a devoted member of Faith Baptist Church, was active in AWANA, and was a former member of the Dundee Fire Department, Ladies Auxiliary. Her absolute favorite activity was dining at the Classic Café in Dundee. She is survived by a son James P. Moore of Dundee; a daughter Ruth Anne Blair of DeRidder, LA; 2 grandsons Jeffery (Kathryn) Moore of Dundee, and Christopher Blair of West Monroe, LA; a granddaughter Stephani Goss of Norwich, CT; 7 great grandchildren Jordan David Goss, McKenna Ann Goss, Tate A. Moore, Gray E. Moore, Milia E. Moore, Raelynn A. Moore, and Hudson A. Moore; along with several cousins, her church family, and many special dear friends. Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by a brother John Edward Raps, an uncle Harold Raps, and an aunt Hazel Raps.
