Brenda A. Jamison
Dundee: Brenda A. Jamison, age 53, of Dundee, NY died peacefully on Saturday June 23, 2018 in the comfort of her home surrounded by family and friends.
Friends are invited to calling hours from 4:00 – 8:00 pm Thursday (June 28) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee; where a Fireman Service will be held at 8:15 p.m. Her funeral service will be private for the family on Friday (June 29) with Pastor Chris Durham and Deacon Larry Dykes officiating. Burial will be Private in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Her Life beginning at 2:00 pm Friday (June 29) at the Tyrone Fire Hall. Those wishing may feel free to bring a dish to pass.

Brenda was born February 9, 1965 in Montour Falls, NY, the daughter of Joseph E. and Barbara {Thompson} Dombroski Sr. She graduated from Dundee Central School in 1983. On June 19, 1993 in the Tyrone Fire Hall she married James C. Jamison. An Army Bride she moved to Aledo, Illinois where she worked at the YMCA Children's Center until returning to New York in 2003. She accepted a position as an Inspector and Packer for Silgan Plastics, in Penn Yan, where she has worked until her health forced her to stop.
Brenda was a Firewoman and very active member of the Tyrone Fire Company; and was also a member of the Angel Wing Warriors Cancer Support Group.
She enjoyed camping, annual family trips to Black Lake, casino trips, NASCAR, but loved her role as "Grammy" the most of all.
She is loved and will be dearly missed by her husband of 25 years, Jim C. Jamison at home; 3 daughters Jessica L. (Sam) Root of Dundee, Jammie L. (James) Drake of Bradford, Brittany J. (Bryon "Buck/Bubba" Case) Jamison at home; her grandsons Joseph M. Drake and David A. Root; her mother Barbara A. Dombroski; 3 brothers Donnie A. (Lori Fuller) Dombroski, Joseph E. (Tammy) Dombroski Jr., Bill E. (Johanna) Dombroski; and 1 sister Bridget A. (Dan) Taft all of Dundee; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, & outlaws; and countless friends.
She was pre-deceased by her father Joseph E. Dombroski on June 29, 2003 and a niece Vera Leighann Dombroski-Metris on June 23, 1990
