Beulah L. Palmer Dundee: Beulah L. Palmer, age 91, of Dundee, NY passed away Thursday March 3, 2022 at Rochester General Hospital, Rochester, N.Y.. Friends were invited to calling hours from 5:00 - 7:00 pm Thursday (March 10) at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee; where a Committal Prayer Service was held at 7:00 pm with Rev. Beckie Laumeier officiating. Burial was private in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee. A Celebration of Her Life Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday May 21, 2022 at the Dundee United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Dundee United Methodist Church, 35 Water Street, or the Dundee Fire Company Emergency Squad, 12 Union St., Dundee, NY 14837. Beulah was born April 9, 1930 in Barrington, NY, the daughter of the late Ralph and Sylvia Hatcher Loss. She graduated from Dundee Central School in 1948, and went onto graduate from Delhi Agriculture & Technical Institute with a degree in Food Service. She put her education to great use as a Diet Technician in the health care field having worked for Highland Hospital in Rochester, the University of Miami, Syracuse Memorial Hospital, and finally for 27 years at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital in Penn Yan retiring in 1998. On May 15, 1971 in Dundee, NY she married the late Edwin A. Palmer, a beloved car dealer who passed away on July 5, 2007. Mrs. Palmer was a very active devoted member and former Stewardship Chairman as well as other positions of Dundee United Methodist Church. She was a member of the American Dietetic Assoc., and a long time Volunteer for Meals on Wheels, she enjoyed antiquing, and will be fondly remembered for her contagious perpetual smile. She is loved and will be forever missed by Ed's daughter Catherine P. (Alan) Kiehle of Romulus, NY; 2 granddaughters Alissa Jones of Niskayuna, NY, and Adrianne (Michael) Deorocki of Delmar, NY; 3 great grandchildren Avery and Cooper Jones, and Mallory Deorocki; several nieces and nephews, and everyone who was lucky enough to have known her. Besides her parents and beloved husband, she was pre-deceased by a sister Naomi Cleveland of Rochester, NY in 2006. The Baird Funeral Home is honored to be handling her arrangements and will always remember her for the countless times she used to answer the funeral home phones when they needed to leave the office.
