Betty Jean Heath Dundee: Betty Jean Heath, age 76, of Spring St. Dundee, NY passed away on Friday August 30, 2019 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Penn Yan, NY. There are no calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday September 12, 2019, at the Arc of Yates 235 North Ave. Penn Yan, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arc of Yates 240 North Ave. Penn Yan, NY 14527. Betty was born March 9, 1943 in Tompkins Memorial Hospital in Ithaca, NY, the daughter of the late Claude and Florence {Wixson} Heath. She has lived in Yates County since 1994, previously of Ontario County; a resident of the Arc of Yates. Miss Heath was a member of the former Dundee Presbyterian Church, and involved with Skylarc Studios. She loved and collected Betty-Boop souvenirs; playing Bingo, shopping, going out to eat, getting her hair cut, and nails done. Her favorite time was visiting with friends, and one on one time with her favorite staff members. Pre-deceased by her parents, she is survived by one aunt, Alice Hamerez of Ithaca, NY. She will be sadly missed by all the staff and friends who loved her dearly.
