Barbara Ann ''Barb'' Champlin Dundee: Barbara Ann ''Barb'' Champlin, age 73, of Dundee, NY went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, in Penn Yan, NY. Honoring her wishes, there will be no calling hours; a memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the Baird Funeral Home 36 Water Street Dundee, NY; with Lay Pastor Lew Ann Giles officiating. The family requests that donations be made to Dundee Fire Company Emergency Squad 12 Union St Dundee, NY 14837. Barb was born March 23, 1948 in Corning, NY to the late Larry and Frances (Johns) Axtell. She married her first and only love Edward Champlin in May of 1966. Together they raised their son Jeff. She earned her Cosmetology license in 1981 and enjoyed providing hair services to family and friends for many years. She devoted her life to her family and took great pleasure in taking care of her grandchildren. She will be loved and cherished forever by Jeff (Angela) Champlin. She also leaves to cherish her memory, granddaughter Andrea (Dan), and grandson Lance Corporal Alec (Emily). She is loved and will be forever remembered by her siblings, Richard Axtell (Helen), Cathy Krnotch, Larry Nageldinger and R. Dwyte Nageldinger. She also leaves several brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and lifetime best friend Bonnie Heeman.
