Anna Elizabeth Bennett Auberger Bradford: Anna Elizabeth Bennett Auberger, 98 years young, of Bradford, NY passed away Tuesday May 29, 2018 in the comfort of her home. Family and friends are invited to call from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Friday June 1, at the Baird Funeral Home, 36 Water Street, Dundee, NY; where her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Chris Durham officiating. Burial will follow in Tyrone Union Cemetery, Tyrone, NY. Anna was born February 22, 1920 in Sussex, NJ, the daughter of the late William and Inez Kimble Bennett. On February 1, 1938 in Sussex, NJ, she married the late Alan D. Auberger, who passed away on Dec. 2, 1977. A devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother; she loved to travel, cook, and be around family. She enjoyed her cats, flowers, crossword puzzles, birds, and reading. She will be missed by four daughters Kathryn Little of Sussex, NJ, Edith (Bob) Zoon of White Lake, SD, Inez (Darryl) Wendt of Oxford, PA, Annette Donna (Arnie) Taylor of Bradford, NY; one son Allen D. (Joanne) Auberger Jr. of Madrid, NY; 17 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; 2 sisters Nora Cosh of Sussex, NJ, and Roselyn Bott of Tifton, GA; a brother Bill Bennett of Springfield, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she was pre-deceased by son-in-laws George Little and Bob Headley; an infant sister Dorothy Bennett; and 2 brothers Joseph and Edgar Bennett. The family gives special recognition and thanks to granddaughter Carrie House, and daughter Donna Taylor for the devoted loving care they provided to Anna.
