Anastasia Agnes Rapacki

Dundee: Anastasia Agnes Rapacki, of Dundee, NY passed away peacefully just two days after her 95th birthday; Wednesday January 23, 2019 in the comfort of her home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am Saturday (Jan. 26) at St. Mary's of the Lake Parish, 905 N. Decatur St., Watkins Glen, NY. The family will receive friends prior to the mass in the "Link" of the church from 10:15 - 11:00 am. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Dundee; will be at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Dundee Fire Company Emergency Squad, 12 Union St., Dundee, NY 14837.

Anastasia was born January 21, 1924 in Eynon, PA, the eldest daughter of the late Anthony and Josephine Yatsonsky Konasavage. She graduated from Archibald High School in Archibald, PA in 1942. On Oct. 1, 1949 in Eynon, PA she married the late Theodore J. Rapacki Sr. who passed away on Sept. 18, 2007. They have lived locally since 1968, previously of South Bound Brook, NJ. She was a 13 year employee of RCA in Harrison, NJ; and had been a Hood Maker for the former Barden-Robeson Basket Factory in Penn Yan.

Mrs. Rapacki was a member of the former St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Dundee before transferring to St. Mary's in Watkins Glen.

She is loved and will be dearly missed by her son Theodore J. "Ted" Rapacki Jr. of Dundee; 3 daughters Ann Marie Rapacki with whom she made her home, Theresa Rapacki of Ithaca, NY, Bernardine C. (Duane C. Smith) Rapacki of Elmira, NY; a brother Anthony (Pauline) Konasavage Jr. of Moscow, PA; 2 sisters Eleanor (John) Grabin, and Alice Susco both of Eyon, PA; several nieces, nephews; and her 4 Legged "Fur Babies" Brindle, Bella, & George.

Besides her parents and husband, she was pre-deceased by a sister Rose Kobylash on Sept 2, 2001.
